20 miles up the coast, in Fife, is what we call " the East neuk "
the east corner. As the corner juts out into the North Sea
traditionally that is where the local deep sea fishing was
based. Nowadays politics have caused the industry to die out
and the fishing harbours in that area are more for tourists and
pleasure boaters. With only some small inshore fishing boats left.
