Bridge of Oich painting

I based this painting on an old postcard from 1919. It shows the old bridge of Oich at Fort Augustus. The bridge was originally built of stone with two arches. When one arch was washed away, in the 19th century, it was temporarily repaired with four wooden spans. It still stands today but is in a dangerous condition. Historic Scotland has allocated £200,000 to it's restoration provided the local community can raise the rest.
The river Oich runs parallel with the caledonian canal through Fort Augustus.
