I have an ex-army friend in Adelaide Australia and his neighbours g-grandparents lived in West Wemyss around 1880. He asked if there was any chance of me taking a photo for them as its not far
away. I sent about 20 photos,
including the old church, graveyard and actual gravestone and ended up painting wemyss harbour for them.
It has hardly changed from then to now,
they were absolutely thrilled.

It was fun for us too. That was a friend of a friend but it made me think. There may be a lot of folks out there would appreciate the same sort of thing.We would like to offer our services. Sorry to say but unless you can prove we are related (joke), we would have to charge for this. Depending on how far away & etc. Drop us a line, you may be surprised. It doesn't cost that much to site our caravan.

Even if it was a super painting of the dreaded Aunty Maud's gravestone. Then whenever you get that knock on the door, the one that fills you with foreboding. You feel queasy, uneasy like something bad is on its way.
You can look above your fireplace and take comfort,
it aint Maud dropping in for a visit.

We enjoy accepting commissions. This normally involves you sending us a photo of the subject you would like painted. This could be anything from a
couple of hours painting - up to a few site visits and a few weeks work every one is different.
(to be honest 95% is a photo by e mail and a
painting by return.)

We specialise in buildings, landscapes and still life in all styles, we are not too hot on portraits and don't really want to get into pet paintings, which
must be a bit of a nightmare.
