An oil painting of Dunnottar Castle. Situated in the Northeast by Stonehaven. It is a bit of a walk from the car park but well worth it surrounded by a beautiful bay and some interesting rock formations. Stonehaven itself is a nice, well looked after town with a picturesque harbour. All in a nice spot for a stop. We found the municipal camping site was well tended and run, it is also just behind the large outdoor heated swimming pool. |
