This oil painting is of the Invermorriston Bridge
this bridge was one of the many built by Thomas Telford in 1813
and was the main road bridge on the Fort Augustus to Inverness
route until the 1930's. It spans the powerful river morriston falls
on the western shore of Loch Ness
